Donald Joseph Qualls (also known as DJ Qualls) is a fashion actor and model from the United States. In addition to being a part of his Road Trip role, he was also a part of The New Guy Hustle & Flow as well as The Core. He also has appeared on over 22 television shows like Breaking Bad Supernatural and Scrubs. Qualls has fought Hodgkin's lymphoma since the age of 14 old. After two years of treatment the cancer has gone into Remission. But the treatment in such a short time had a severe effect on his body, and hindered his development. Since he grew up in poverty, he wanted to attain financial stability. I've lived such a low-cost lifestyle over the years that I need to have that financial security or the world feels uncontrollable for me when he spoke to an interviewer. He thinks back to his youth and feels an urge to do something against the bullying. He is a victim of cruelty and hurts him to the core. The ideal character for him in films and in his life is father. But, he admits that the directors rarely cast him for those types of characters. It would be wonderful to be one day an adult, and the time comes when he can devote much less time working and dedicate it to his children.
